Cathy is passionate about developing new growth businesses. Cathy was a founding board member of the investment group Launch Taranaki and is both an early stage investor and entrepreneur.
She co-founded Hiringa Energy in 2016 and is Chairperson and Executive Director. Hiringa is a New Plymouth company developing zero emission hydrogen projects for transport, industry and export and is building New Zealand’s first hydrogen refuelling network focused on the heavy transport sector.
