Sir Ian Taylor is founder of Animation Research Ltd. (ARL), a world-leading computer graphics production facility, where they turn data into digital images. After years working in television, Ian founded Animation Research in 1990, which led to first commercial work and then the contract to provide live tracking of the boats during the 1992 America's Cup. Since then, ARL has grown in leaps and bounds, picking up contracts for flight and Formula 1 simulators to Virtual Eye work for a host of sporting organisations.
