Dr. Jana Matthews

Dr Jana Matthews is ANZ Chair in Business Growth and Director of the Australian Centre for Business Growth at the University of South Australia.

Recognised as an international expert on entrepreneurial leadership and business growth, Dr Matthews was on the Founding Team of the Kauffman Foundation’s Centre for Entrepreneurial Leadership.

She has been acknowledged as one of the world’s “18 Women Business Gurus” - the only one in entrepreneurial leadership and business growth - and has worked as a Global Thought Leader for SAP, has a doctorate from Harvard and has founded five companies of her own.

Dr Matthews is the co-author of 150 articles and eight books. She has worked as a consultant to hundreds of entrepreneurial CEOs and corporate executives, helping them unlock the growth potential of their companies.

She is a member of the International Women’s Forum Australia and chairs the Selection Committee for the Australian Government funded Boosting Female Founders Initiative.
